Aust Grunt (as he was known by on the Official EA Forums) is a very active and community-focused fan of the Dead Space franchise, having been captivated by the Dead Space franchise, he wished to make an impact in terms of contribution utilizing his Programmer/Designer skills. He started in the community by offering customised avatars with Dead Space themes, some of them animated. These then spread to Signature customizations.

Known as Aust Grunt (or augrunt), His real name is Steve and he lives in Sydney, Australia.

Notable Contributions Edit

His largest contributions to the community was by far the "Unitology Font" which he created using in-game footage of the cyphers provided through-out the Dead Space.

Aegis 7 (Fan Site) Edit

Always on the EA Forums, he started to become disenchanted with the speed and efficiency of it's operation. Double posts, phantom posts and other glitches (including moderators who removed his posts that attempted to help others bypass these issues) made him aware that there was a desperate requirement of another place to meet-- A fan site capable of being on-par with the official site. Aegis7.com was registered on December 27th, 2010 and its Forum launched around 10:00pm (GMT 10+).

Within 12 hours, 200 posts had already been made by over 10 members-- all who came from the Official EA Forums.

Notable Features Edit

Aust Grunt was able to integrate his Unitology Font into the forums to allow users and fans to create "markings" on the fly, even without having his font installed. Thus, allowing the community to further immerse itself in Dead Space on another level.
