The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, commonly referred to as the United Kingdom (UK) or Britain was a country located in Northwestern Europe. In the 21st century, it consisted of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and it's capital city was London.

Background Edit

The United Kingdom was formed in 1800 with the Act of Union between the Kingdoms of Great Britain and Ireland. Great Britain itself was being formed in 1707 with a similar act of Union between the Kingdoms of Scotland and the Kingdoms of England (Incorporating Wales).

From 1775 to 1783, the United Kingdom fought the newly formed United States, made up of thirteen of it's North American colonies. The colonies won the war, leading to their independence from the British Empire. The United Kingdom also fought on the side of Allied Powers during World War II as one of the four leading countries of the alliance.

The United Kingdom also controlled many overseas territories and at it's peak led the largest empire in human history.

Resource Wars Edit

In 2446, the Resource Wars began. The United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France, the United States, Russia and the other countries fought each other for the "dominance" of Earth and for their oil. It was unknown if it was during the war on Scorpio 6.

After the Resource Wars, the Concordance Extraction Corporation (C.E.C.) was established to fuel Mankind's immeasurable thirst for resources and the Earth Government divided Earth into numerous semi-independent states called "sectors". The United Kingdom was part of the pan-European sector.
