Gun laughing woman has in DS (1) Chapter 10?[]
I found I was able to use kinesis to snag the gun the woman used to off herself before it dissapeared, and it seems very dissimilar to the one imaged here - despite what it says in the other article about her using a Divet. That, and my vexation at being unable to equip it - same as Hammond's and every single Space Marine's uber-weapons on the Valor. I suppose it's another trope Dead Space falls into - Unusable Enemy equipment. So what model of gun is it then, anyway? --Civil Protection C13-06A 03:14, October 16, 2009 (UTC)

Actually, I was able to find this gun. It was still intact, and is DEFINATELY a Divet.

New Image?[]

Has anyone else besides me noticed that Divet sounds an a lot like "Divot" which in golf jargon means a hole in the ground made by a golf club and since the Divet makes rather large holes in people the name Divet pistol might be a reference to the term "Divot", i was going to put this tidbit in the Trivia section but i wasn't able to type it out in a manner that would make sense when read. @d2r: I don't know if we can get a clear image from Extraction - it's first person and you can't see thge weapons, so...

The pistol actually is called the Divet, as sourced by the Dev Team. Do not change the entry name, particularly if you don't discuss it with the community first. --Haegemonia(talk) 02:46, February 26, 2011 (UTC)
