Not a direct sequel ***SPOILER WARNING*** Edit

I finished reading it yesterday and can say that it is not a direct sequel to Martyr. In fact, it shares very little in common with Everson's first book. It takes place after the black marker reverse engineering and the construction of several of the red markers. At least two new red markers are mentioned, which along with the ones on Aegis VII (also mentioned), Titan Station and Uxor, make five red markers revealed to date. I enjoyed Martyr but was, sadly, somewhat disappointed with this one. It shows great promise up until you get near the end and then it falls flat and fails to deliver. *sigh* 04:53, October 8, 2012 (UTC)
