The Maintenance Deck of the USG Ishimura was where maintenance was performed on shuttles and maintenance shuttles are docked. These hangars could be manually opened in the event of their Control Rooms sustaining damage. There are also several Sleep Blocks located on another floor of this deck.
The Maintenance Deck had a single Tram Station with an information and communications terminal as well as an elevator to the different floors of the Deck.
Shuttle Bay HallEdit
Accessed via an elevator at the Tram Station, the Shuttle Bay Hall was a long hallway containing several storage rooms and three Shuttle Bays.
Shuttle Bay 46Edit
Although the interior of Shuttle Bay 46 was never seen, it could be assumed that it's appearance was similar (If not identical) to that of Shuttle Bay 47.
Shuttle Bay 47Edit
Shuttle Bay 47 was a large, wide-open hangar that was very similar in appearance to the Executive Shuttle Bay, located on the Crew Deck. Shuttle Bay 47 was comprised of two levels with the lower level made accessible via a Cargo Lift. The upper level housed Maintenance Shuttle 23 and also contained a Control Room. The lower level contained the launch hatch and a Zero Gravity control terminal to make the area more easily traversable. In case the Control Room console was damaged, one must open the hatch manually by destroying all four power cores, located on the lower level. This was the only Shuttle Bay on the Maintenance Deck known to contain a shuttle.
Shuttle Bay 48Edit
Although the interior of Shuttle Bay 48 was never seen, it could be assumed that it's appearance was similar (If not identical) to that of Shuttle Bay 47.
- The Maintenance Deck was only seen in Dead Space: Extraction.
- This was where Chapter 8: In the Hearts of Men, Chapter 9: Escaping the Ishimura and Chapter 10: Secrets and Salvation of Dead Space: Extraction took place.
- The only notable location on this deck was Shuttle Bay 47 which contained Maintenance Shuttle 23.
