Jackson was a member of Colin Barrow's dig team, seen briefly during Dead Space: Downfall while helping prepare the planetside gravity tethers for the planet crack. He voices his concerns to Colin that the Marker is in fact cursed^[1] and that someone or something purposefully placed it on the planet. Given the nature of the events that followed, it is all but certain he was killed during the Necromorph infestation of the colony.
