I just realised that DS2 didn't have a lot of guns, although they were satisfying to use. So post your ideas and try to explain in detail if you can.If I get enough replies I'll draw all of your guns and post it. I'll start with mine.
Name: V35 ShockWave Launcher MK III
Use: When rocks become just too stubborn for your liking, that's when the V35 comes in handy. Implementing the versatile usage of Kinesis as well as mixing the Handheld Graviton Accelarator, it fires out a small cannister at a stunning speed of 70 km. Upon contact with a 'hard surface' it detonates. Unlike the crude grenades which uses shrapnel, it releases it's more devasting payload: Massive Kinesis Blasts which in conjunction with the Graviton Accelarator, further increases its range. Beware, its effects on human targets are just as devastating as it would to a rock.
Combat-wise: I figured Isaac Clarke could use this kind of weapon as a buffer weapon i.e. to clear out a room without too much direct action. I liked using the Force gun but figured it needed range so I decided to modify it a bit. I guess it won't be much of a necromorph killer so much as a shield. Secondary fire would be to activate its Delayed Explosion Cannister. Unlike its primary the only difference is that it stasis's its target, meaning it is good for crowd control. However like the name suggest it takes time to prime it. On the plus side the kinesis effect is much stronger, making other necromorphs to be stunned even at a long range. But it significantly decreases damage.
Upgrades: Primary Fire is upgraded with Piercing Shot. Like its name suggest, it sticks necromorphs to the walls. Another upgrade is to add a Over heated Shot, which overheats the cannister prior to firing to give a pyroamniac surprise. For the Secondary shot, increased stasis duration and increased damage.
Hope you like it and don't be shy to post more! I'll draw what I think your guns may look like if I get 10 replies.Isaacgman97 13:24, June 6, 2012 (UTC)Gman97Isaacgman97 13:24, June 6, 2012 (UTC)( sorry for the long post )
