The Tundra Recon Suit is a RIG suit in Dead Space 3. It is a reskin of the Archaeologist Suit, acquired by purchasing either the Tundra Recon Pack DLC, or the Tau Volantis Survival Kit DLC. Both of which include the suit's matching weapon, the Aegis VII Survivalist.
The Tundra Recon Suit, like all DLC RIGs, is available from the first Suit Kiosk on the CMS Roanoke.

Worn by early Tau Volantis expeditionary teams, the Tundra Recon Suit is a formerly brightly colored RIG, likely for additional visibility during blizzards on the Tau Volantis Dig Site. The jacket of the suit is heavily padded with additional elbow pads leading up to the shoulders to prevent movement restriction in the arms. Several strings and pouches line the belt and pant legs of the suit to hold additional mining tools or excavation materials, though unlike the suit's newer counterpart, they are rusty and frayed. For Isaac, it looks like an old, tarnished Archaeologist suit with stains on the helm, lower arms, chest and upper legs, while Carver's is mostly solid white.

- This is one of the few RIGS that shares the same model when worn by both Isaac and Carver, though Carver's version has a white coloring as opposed to Isaac's stained yellow.
