History[]
In the early 23rd century, DredgerCorp owned an underwater facility near the coast of Puerto Chicxulub in Mexico. When the Black Marker was unearthed, DredgerCorp partnered with the military and used their offshore facility to bring the Marker to the surface for study. When Michael Altman and his girlfriend Ada Chavez escaped the DredgerCorp facility, they went to Washington, D.C. and held a press conference about the alien artifact. Soon after the Necromorph outbreak at the oceanic facility, Craig Markoff, Krax and Stevens brought Michael and Ada to the waterworks of DredgerCorp, where they were killed as punishment.[1]
In 2514, Isaac Clarke ventured through a DredgerCorp office on the New Horizons Colony on Luna while on the run from the Circle.[2] Its presence indicated that the corporation survived the presumably costly and scandalous Black Marker incident and was still operating 300 years later.
