The E-34 Elephant Drilling Rig is a drilling rig of unknown proportions. It is mentioned in Dead Space: Downfall just prior to the Jennifer Barrow and her team finding the Red Marker on Aegis 7.[1]
One colonist mentioned that the E-34 Elephant Drilling Rig has been out of operation for over 150 years, having only seen them in books.[1] It is also stated that E-34 Elephant Drilling Rigs leave symmetrical 45 degree scarring and chemical weathering on walls.
