The following are all the weapons that Isaac (and the survivors in the Dead Space series) can use throughout the game. Although not weapons in the traditional sense, their use as mining tools acquired over the course of his time on the ship serves him in better stead than might conventional weaponry. These improvised weapons appear to have a much better effect on the Necromorphs than bullets due to their tendency to sever limbs rather than simply blowing holes in them.
