General of the Army[note 1] Ambrose Caiden was a senior officer in the Sovereign Colonies Armed Forces.[1] In 2314, he informed General Spencer Mahad that the Sovereign Colonies council had decided to invoke Scenario Five, and that all materials and personnel connected to marker research had to be destroyed.[2]
Despite the implementation of Scenario Five, some of Caiden's records pertaining to marker research were still extant in 2508.[3]
